admin Confirming what we had already heard back in February, Bloomberg reports that Sony is indeed mulling the idea of coming out with their own tablet to rival the iPad.
However, it seems that there still no certainty if this will bear fruit as their still waiting on more evidence to prove that consumers are interested in this new segment of the market. Sony, apparently, isn’t convinced that there’s a large enough demand for this type of a product, but thanks to Apple’s groundbreaking 1 million iPad sales in less than a month, they’ve now got a good idea of how popular tablet PCs are these days.
So, in light of this recent development, will they finally release a Sony tablet this year? We still haven’t got the slightest idea, but what’s pretty clear in our minds is that for each month that goes by, they’re being left behind by the competition. How about we give them a little help guys by voicing out our opinion on this issue? Do you think Sony should release tablet PC? Why or why not?
